Practice Information Patrick came to work at our firm in May 2010 after spending more than seven years representing labor organizations and their members at the Boston law firm of Sandulli Grace, PC. While on the East Coast, Patrick represented teachers and affiliates of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the largest public sector union in Massachusetts. Patrick handled all aspects of labor and employment law for teachers, including internal investigations, disciplinary hearings, unemployment appeals, retirement hearings, unfair labor practice proceedings, and arbitration hearings. Patrick also provided legal assistance to the largest municipal police unions in Massachusetts, including the Boston Police Patrolmen's Association, Inc., and the Massachusetts Coalition of Police. In addition, he represented firefighter locals, clerical employee groups, and an IBEW local that represented broadcast technicians and editors at network affiliates in the Northeast. While representing unions and their members, Patrick has practiced in state and federal court, and before the National Labor Relations Board. Patrick has given presentations on a variety of labor and employment topics at conventions for the Massachusetts Coalition of Police, the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Chapter of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee and the Massachusetts Teachers Association. He also has taught classes at The Labor Guild, and has served on panels at the law schools of Northeastern University and Boston College. Before he began working as a labor lawyer, Patrick clerked for Associate Justice Barbara Lenk of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and interned for the late Judge Hugh Bownes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
